Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Frontend PHP Engineer with three or more years of experience to join the Xoobay.com team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in traditional frontend technologies and the PHP ecosystem, have practical experience using AI-powered tools to boost development efficiency, and possess a deep understanding and application ability of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Your main responsibility will be to build and maintain the frontend of our high-performance, high-availability e-commerce platform, ensuring an exceptional user experience and strong search visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development and Optimization (PHP/JS/CSS):
1. Use PHP (experience with frameworks like Laravel/Symfony is a plus) and related technologies to lead the frontend development, maintenance, and feature iteration of the Xoobay.com e-commerce platform.
2. Ensure high performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design for all frontend code.
3. Collaborate closely with backend engineers to implement API integration and data exchange.
Efficiency Improvement and AI Tool Application:
Actively explore and utilize various AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, GPTs) to accelerate code generation, automate testing, refactoring, and bug fixing, achieving multiplicative gains in development efficiency.
Establish efficient development processes and standards, and promote the adoption of AI-assisted technologies within the team's daily workflow.
Search and Generative Optimization (SEO/GEO):
Be deeply involved in frontend architectural design to ensure code structure and rendering mechanisms are SEO-friendly, including the practice of Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
Master the latest Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to optimize content, structure, and metadata, thereby increasing visibility and ranking on AI-driven search and content generation platforms (e.g., Google SGE, ChatGPT).
Monitor and analyze the website's SEO/GEO performance, and continuously implement technical optimizations and improvements.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Three or more years of frontend development experience with a solid foundation and project history in frontend PHP development.
Technical Skills:
1. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and familiar with at least one major frontend framework (such as Vue.js or React).
2. Familiar with the PHP language, understanding the MVC architecture and the application of PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel/CodeIgniter) in frontend interactions.
3. Familiar with frontend engineering, modular development, performance optimization, and automated build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
AI/Efficiency Tools:
Practical experience using AI coding assistance tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT/GPT-4, Claude) and the ability to provide specific examples of efficiency improvements achieved with AI.
Ability to use AI tools for code review, documentation generation, or rapid feature prototyping.
Optimization Expertise:
Deep understanding of SEO techniques, including page speed optimization, structured data, semantic markup, and mobile-friendliness.
Knowledgeable about Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) concepts and capable of integrating GEO strategies into daily development.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to solve problems independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience developing for e-commerce or high-traffic platforms is highly preferred.
2. Familiarity with Linux/Nginx environment configuration and deployment processes.
3. Ability to provide links to personal GitHub open-source projects or technical blogs.
